FAQ'S

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept Visa, Mastecard, Amex, Discover Card or Cash. No personal or business checks will be accepted for any type of move. Payment minus any deposit if paid, is due at the end of your move.

  • How many blankets do i need?

    It depends on the size of the truck or container you have. we recommend 1 dozen per 5 ft of space.

  • How many movers do i need?

    It depends on your situation, for example.

    • 10 ft truck 2 movers
    • 15 ft truck 2 movers
    • 17 ft truck 2 movers
    • 20 ft truck 2 movers
    • 24 ft truck 2-3 movers
    • 26 ft truck 2-3 movers
    • 26 ft ABF trailer 3-4 movers
    • 16 ft POD 2 movers, if you have more than 2 PODS then you will need 3 movers.
  • Do you work weekends and/or holidays?

    Yes, we work weekends and holidays in most areas. Call to be certain if we can do a holiday move.

  • Will they show up on time?

    Yes. Occasionally teams are delayed because of traffic or poor directions, but typically we're early.

  • Do you move pianos?

    Yes, but only upright pianos and only on the first floor.

  • Do you assemble/dis-assemble furniture?

    Yes, we can provide this service as a courtesy. If an item requires special knowlege or tools, we cannot.

  • Do you move in the rain?

    Less than ideal weather, Yes. Severe weather, No. We will reschedule based on our availability if weather prevents us from moving.

  • Why am I charged a travel fee?

    Our travel fee is used to cover the cost of gas and time in our vehicles to and from your location.

  • How does your hourly minimum work?

    All jobs require a 2 hour minimum and a travel fee.

  • Do you offer same day or next day moves?

    Yes we offer next day moves, but for same day moves then you will need to call our office to see if we have availability.

  • Do you supply any equipment?

    Yes, we supply the dollies and any tools that we may need.

  • What if I need to change or cancel my move?

    Yes, we can work with you on changing the date or time based on our availibility. if you cancel within 24 hours or less of your scheduled move, your deposit is non-refunable.

  • Do you provide moving trucks?

    We focus on keeping your costs low and our flexibility high. we do not provide trucks or furniture blankets at this time.If all you need is professional moving labor then simply book your preferred number of movers.   • What size moves do you perform?

    We specialize in small to medium size moves.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes and yes. It doesn't happen often, but if your movers damage something during your move, they will send My Two Movers a damage report. We reserve the right to repair damage(s) in question. if we determine the damage cannot be repaired, we reserve the right to replace the item or compensate you with the item's current cash value. My Two Movers is not a transportation company and not responsible for any damages durning transportation.Also if you do not have moving blankets to protect your furniture, we are not responsible for any damages that occure at any time.
